Stop drama.

Yes this has happened with me once I was gonna be mated in one move and my opponent spammed my clock until I had 5 hours before checkmating me. These guys have no respect lol and it's weird and awkward when this happens. Just ignore these guys.
Edit: I don't mean the whole community I mean the people who give time with mate in 1.
"Respect for this constant whinging and wailing? Certainly not"

One day,...

...one day you will learn to interact and be a valuable member of the community.

That day you will become a champion.

The real champions, so far, are those who respect people, ...respecting the game and respecting the opponents.
It doesn't matter to have a good ranking, ... the day you figure it out, ...blow a whistle.

why do you ask? can't I talk about respect for opponents for some reason? Please explain to me

if I was wrong I apologize, I was misled by the lack of the express subject

So you are talking of respect for other people. Yet you want to commit them and their time not only for the one game of chess that they selected to play, no, they should commit for TWO games with you. Otherwise you say they don't meet standards of fairplay, standards that YOU arrogate to set for them. Where is the respect in that?

You talking of others learning to interact is pretty rich, considering you demand that other people sacrifice their own wishes and their time to you. Do you really think you are setting the standards here and your golden behind is what the world has to revolve around? You are wrong, boy.

Your slimy and patronizing attitude doesn't impress me one bit.

Well, This is my point of view. And respecting the people MEANS respecting the different. Personally, i like to offer a rematch when i won a game, ...in my country, giving a "rivincita" is a symbol of fairplay. That's all. Maybe because i'm Italian, i don't know, ...maybe it's about our culture, i don't know. Deal with it.

Please, call me sir. I'm not agree, time is precious and if you don't want to interact with me or other people here, ...please switch off, and live your life. It's so beautiful outside. Maybe you can learn a lot.

"Your slimy and patronizing attitude doesn't impress me one bit."

I'm not slimy, i'm assertive. I don't want to impress anyone, just give a different point of view, and express my personal opinion.

Take care

I disagree with you about the rematch issue but you are correct that people who add more time before checkmating are creepy.
