Puzzle racer problems

I am a approximately 1250 rated player but the puzzle racer paired a CM with me and I don't think that's fair

Wat is puzzle race

Its always fair if you join a public race. If you want to be paired with your friends who are lower rated, then you should click on the Friendly Race in which you have to share the link to your friends to join it.

Awkward but not unfair? Also I'm not sure if Lichess can find enough other strong players to be paired with the CM?

Any kind of player can join a Puzzle Racer match. It doesn't matter if you are a titled player, high rated player, or low rated player.

I personally really like it. It's not like winning a race gets you anything (currently). I played with NM @Chess-Network earlier and that was really exciting to me.

It's great to get live comparisons. It helps me understand how well players at a certain level can solve these sorts of puzzles!

I won a race just now and I was kinda sloppy lol! But shouldn't there be some kinda point thing to it? Like you don't gain anything from it, and I was up against a NM but I came second but they were first, unsurprisingly.

@Mikaschach2021, if you dont have any friends, then you have to join a public race. But many players had requested to have a race with +100 and -100 rated players. If it gets implemented, then there will be no problem!
