I don't think linking to advanced math formulas is gonna help Thion get into the leaderboards. Does he need to play more games? How long does it take for him to be shown in the leaderboards?

Probably not, but he asked for the formula.

Yes

The formulae could help answer this. You would have to make assumptions about the average opponent, and game results, though. Assumptions that are hard to make, because we don't really know his strength yet.

I mean, he asked for it...
#2, #3 and #4 already provided an explanation of the issue and the consequent solution.

it is that lichess does not know your rating completely because you did not play enough games or you were inactive.
off topic:
Wanna play correspondence?
Rating deviation determines "by how much" your rating might be "distorted from reality" right now, which will also determine how many points you will gain or lose if you go play right now against someone rated a given number of points.

If you don't play enough games for a certain time, rating deviation will increase over time.

For instance, I used to play ultrabullet and, after lots of games, my rating deviation was very low, because my rating was then stable. After a long time not playing, you can't tell if I'm still good at it. And, in fact, just days ago, I did notice the question mark (?) was back to my ultrabullet rating because I wasn't playing it. Then I played lots of ultrabullet games and lost about 200 points. You see, my rating was not accurate anymore, because my rating deviation was very high after not playing for months. Now it's back to a low deviation, because my new rating (which happens to be 200 points below) is now accurate to my current strenght.

It's no big deal if you assume you still hold the same strenght of play. Just play a few more games and watch your rating deviation slowly decrease.
This is maybe a bit off topic, but I think a relevant issue is why is there rating inflation and how to combat it?
