When I pre-move, any drawing I've done on the board is erased and vice versa. Would anyone like the Xs and arrows to be more permanent? Maybe there could be a hotkey to clear them.

Personally, the circles and arrows annoy me when I accidentally use them during a bullet game. I'm trying to play chess, not give a presentation. There needs to be an option in Preferences to turn them off.
You can draw while holding a piece, then release to commit the premove. Then your premove is established while the drawings stay.
@#2: That sounds like a useful feature too. I'm just saying I sometimes premove an obvious capture in longer games while I consider other moves.
