Lichess Tournaments Discourages You to Play Chess Tournaments

Imagine if u are a 1000 playing a Hourly rapid arena. You won against a 989 which scores u 2 tournament points, the game afterward u were paired with a 1500 as the 1500 lost 3 and won 1. You lost that game then played a 1600, 1900, 2000 which u lost against. This then discourages u to play chess tournaments since the pairings are by points not rating making lower rated players hard to win games in tournaments. I want o request lichess to change the tournament pairngs by +100,-100 rating to make lower rated players have a chance.

Lowers rated players can have a chance in the restricted rating tournaments.
Pairings based on rating leads to sandbagging festivals.

But if you are 1561, you can only play in<1700, <2000 which occurs only twice every 4 hours.

Also, what about team battles? You do get paired against higher rated players.
