15 sec for the first move in a tournament game is NOT ENOUGH.
Please, consider increasing it to 30 sec.
Thanks!
well... it was 30 seconds at first but then they made it 15...
OK
I want to say that something is not right with the tournament and suggest a little more time to be added.
Here is an example why: a strong , high-rated blitz/bullet player with only one lost in the last night 960 tournament :
http://en.lichess.org/tXOraVKL/black or in my game with him where I couldn't move :
http://en.lichess.org/eqYq4e9S or these players who I believe couldn't move too:
http://en.lichess.org/tk8rmlQBnisWhttp://en.lichess.org/cPzdtVPWO2qRhttp://en.lichess.org/QnJYruJFrQvpThe tournament was corrupted.
Not cool, not good.
I liked 30 seconds better. I believe they changed it because Fins requested it.
- First punishment: not enough time to realize that you're in a game.
- Second punishment: you lose a tournament point, which is natural.
- Third punishment: you lose rating points (worse if the opponent has 300 points below you), which is not normal because you have not played.
If you do not have the influence of a youtuber your opinion is worthless.
So do not expect something from Thibault. May be in luck in an upcoming code shuffling.
