I would like to see in the future if lichess could make "three men chess" board

You got alot of variants here aswell if you want to play really weird variants, but its fun! (also i think all variants are playable as 960 here aswell) vchess.club/#/variants

A variant I thought of but I'm not too sure whether it can be easily solved is to allow players to switch between two modes instead of making a move.

E.g. the game might start as normal chess but at any point either player can decide to skip his turn to make the game Atomic. Players can do the same to switch back (unless their opponent just switched modes in their last turn). Switching to Atomic right at the start as white is not worth it since it essentially gives your opponent the white pieces which is +2 in Atomic. So you'd pretty much play normal chess but always have to be careful to not run into a position where even with an additional move you could not stop an Atomic attack. I think this might make it interesting but I haven't really done any serious studies or anything.

Problem was there can't be pawns on the first rank for black, since they promote there... now all pawns have the same distance to promtion... Its also not too bad for either side :)

I would really want a “ see/move thru chess”.Basically this variant allows players to move their pieces through their other pieces e.g. 1. Bc4 is possible because the bishop can move through the pawn 1) also two pieces cannot be on the same place at once. 2) Pieces cannot move through enemy pieces.

Apart from neocroquet no.

Black Lives Matter Chess Variant:

Played like a regular chess game, but with a few caveats.

Black starts the game by saying "That's racist you get the first move!"

So then white makes a move, and the game continues.

When black captures a white piece all players look away from the board nobody cares that don't matter.

When white capturest the first black piece however. The game stops everyone takes a knee.

Both players sit in silence for 9 minutes paying respect to the lost black piece.

The game continues, and upon the 2nd time a black piece is taken both players flip the board over shout "THATS RACIST!" and go burn down a Wendy's.
