Is Crazyhouse chess good for standard chess?

Recently discovered crazyhouse and I quite like it. I'm playing only against computer for now but it's getting addictive already.

Do you guys think it can help with one's regular chess skills or on the contrary can it be detrimental to regular thinking of standard chess?
In my opinion playing crazyhouse is good to increase the tactical vision, vision of attack and defense crazyhouse because there is more possibility of movements than in standard chess and many ways of giving mate.

It's like saying, "It's better ladies or chess to be more intelligent."
well crazyhouse is good for improving tactical patterns recognition, as @azuaga mentioned. But it's a lot different than actual tactics in a standard game because there is the factor of placing a piece from your hand wherever you want, which doesn't apply to normal chess.
That being said, if you wish to become a good crazyhouse player you need to study some theory, which has nothing to do with improving standard chess.
CrazyHouse is my tactics trainer.
Forget puzzles.

You can blunder away your queen and still win.

Benefits:
1) You get real sense of tempo.
Activity, checks and forced moves rule the world of CrazyHouse.

2) Learn by force to not get knight-forked, skewered, etc.
And apply this everytime you move.
This especially resonates in Blitz

3) Lose the fear of crazy tactics in standard.

4) Learn to lookout for tactics and combinations.

Drawbacks:
1) No endgame

2) Cannot apply many strategic concepts of standard chess.
Wow, I don't know how I did forget I opened this thread :) !!!

But anyway,

@Manuel2,

Thanks for the great answer, that was exactly what I was asking for. I like puzzle studying a lot so that's still my primary training but I definitely see what you mean by crazyhouse as a tactic trainer.

@apostolis1, "That being said, if you wish to become a good crazyhouse player you need to study some theory, which has nothing to do with improving standard chess."

Thanks for the answer, can you point out any study that you know of, especially for beginners like me?
@GirlofChess
well my friend I can't offer you anything more concrete right now than Jan Lee's channel.

He is an amazing crazyhouse player and he has been studying the game for years. Even though the videos might be a little hard to follow as a beginner, I think they will definately help you improve your understanding of the variant.
@apostolis1,

Oh well, I found about him some days ago but I didn't know he had a yt channel, so thanks for the link. I like to watch chess videos in-between my work and school study anyway, so this will be helpful I hope :)
