GM Tigran L. Petrosian, violated fair play regulation, banned for life

@OliveiraLucas
Chess.com have their policies and if they prefer to act in a certain way it has a specific reason.
Peyrosian can sue them, which would probably force them to show the evidence, they have no problems with that.

Just curious, is he taking legal actions?
@Biancoazzurro
So far I don't know. In the press conference he said something amoung the lines that chess.com answer to his complains by only saying that this was their final decision and that he cannot take legal action because he have signed some sort of clause preventing this.
Now the claim that they have their policies... Ok, they can act as they wish, is their tournament I grant they that. But this whole episode is a mess and there is much to blame on the lack of transparency on the way that chess.com have been dealing with so far.
I do think that it is more probable that the allegation is in fact true - unfortunately. But the way all things emerged with the whole Wesley vs Petrosian thing - that even makes you wonder if they would take actions if Wesley have not said anything - is just a mess and harm online chess in general.
