Can you actually get a game of chess in with this happening? Can you take out the garbage when you're constantly interrupted by phone calls you don't want?
No, I can't get anything done without interruption. I know some people, though, who don't answer their phone. You have to leave a message if you want to talk to them. (I don't know what good it would do to leave a message if I didn't answer my phone.) I guess that's the advantage of texting.
The solution is to throw your phone away with the garbage.
Do you have a silent mode? Or do you mean the telephone (not cell)?
It is not a cell. It is a landline. These are calls I sort of have to take occasionally but wish I didn't. Those are the worst. The rest of the time I try to just ignore it and they hang up when the machine takes it.
Praise the landline.
